Hi folks,
Up for sale my MANUAL CG5 Mount head with SPARE SVP mount head that has the RA and dec motors with clutches, hand control unit, etc.
The manual versions are really getting hard to find in the US, and the CG5 is in excellent condition. The SVP works as well, I considered it for parts motors, drives etc. thatare interchangeable with the cg5. My plan was to take the motors from the SVP , add them to the cg5, buy the 6v battery pack from Amazon, and have a nice manual mount before plans changed.
The CG5 also comes with the counterweight shaft, toe guard, and a 7 & 4 LB counterweight. The tripod was already sold locally. However, you can purchase the exact tripod that fits these tripod from the sky-watcher website. ( Those tripods fit the CG5, AVX, eq6, cgem, etc, and would most likely be listed as an eq-6 tripod there, just a FYI ( They all used the same tripod).
$19.95 Shipping EAST of the Mississippi, $37.95 WEST of the Mississippi. ( Counterweights are heavy and cost more to ship)
PayPal ( + the 3% or use F& F , Zelle though your bank, US Postal money order and CASH on pickup accepted.
Thanks for looking, and clear skies!
