Hello ,everyone. I hope all members happy .
Today, I will sell Takahashi P-2S small equatorial mount.
I think there are some people who know P-2, P-2Z, but not P-2S.
several years before , I have experience that I compared 3 P-2. It was only weight.
Surprisingly, P-2, P-2S, P-2Z , 3 P-2 have same weight.
From it's experience, I have been thinking ( 3 P-2S are perfect same at structure ,except lever, handle.)

However, it was big misunderstanding!
P-2-------------- sold 1979~1990
P-2S-------------sold 1990~ 1995
P-2Z--------------After 1995, ~ unknown.
In such way, the period of P-2S 's time was most short.........

I wanted to exchange height adjustment lever (= P-2Z') , so I ordered it ( P-2Z's height stopper ) to my
friend who is working at metal processing, always I have been asking Telescope parts.

My lever (P-2Z's shape) has come!
I was gladly trying install new lever to my P-2 mount.........
However,I knew by changing to lever, impossible to make P-2's height stiffly.
At last I noticed that there is no 3 small holes ( P-2S has 3 small hole)
Takahashi made support ring and hold 3 small screw.
Without it's structure, by only center clamp lever.............................
It was unexpected !!
Why I didn't notice such simple improvement ! I am ashamed.......

numbers of P-2S may be little.
Also, this P-2S has great tracking performance. I can recommend.

Recently, this Takahashi's improvement may be similar to (old) Nikon 8cm equatorial mount.
I have 1 time sold in Yahoo Auction.
What! There is 2 types about Nikon 8cm.
Height was fixed.
North latitude ; 35degree
:40 degree

I imagine Nikon thought adjustment of height make mount weak.....
This time,to watch Takahashi 's improvement , I remember very old Nikon 8cm achromat 's mount.
