Takahashi EM10 GOTO ***Sale Pending****

I bought this mount on Astromart a couple of months ago because it was such a great GEM for a 4" refractor that would be doing a mix of visual and CCD work. Then I went out and got a larger scope and new mount.

This is an excellent quality mount, accurate drive system (low periodic error), the best materials, and portable enough to take anywhere. I sent it off to TNR and had them add the Temma GOTO upgrade, and that seemed to make just about perfect. In my limited CCD experience, it has taken very nice unguided exposures for over a minute, and easily tracks for longer guided exposures (I’ve only pushed it out to 10 minutes so far).

I’m selling the mount as shown with:

· Hardwood tripod with tray
· Hand paddle, and all the control cables (RS232 and ST-7)
· 6.5 kg counter weight
· An unopened – unregistered copy of Pegasus 21 software
· AP and Takahashi mounting adapter plates
· 24VDC Power supply

New this would cost over $3700 before you pay shipping – I’m asking $2900 including shipping in CONUS.
