Very good condition CI700 mount approximately 2 years old. Tracks well and has very smooth periodic error which is easily handled by autoguiders. I've been very happy with this mount and have taken many successful CCD images with it.
Includes all standard accessories - 22lb counterweight, polar scope, 12v car adapter, drive electronics, hand control & complete instructions for everything.
Celestron Advanced Astro Master 4000 tic encoders are installed (new cost ~$250).
In addition, I have modified the standard tripod with "Al's Leg Kit", which makes it fully adjustable and fixes the only big complaint about this mount. This modification adds another 2-4" to an already tall tripod - perfect for a big, long focus refractor.
Asking $1200 obo.
Would prefer a local deal in Pacific NW. Will meet buyer halfway in Wa/Or/BC area. Otherwise shipping charges are negotiable.
