I have a Skywatcher EQ8-R equatorial mount in like new and excellent condition. I have it installed in on observatory, which I am converting to a solar building. I simply don't need this HD mount any longer, as I use a CEM120 for my heavy OTAs.
This has worked without any issues for me, and it includes the EQ-Mod interface cable for connecting an ASIAIR to the mount should you prefer to use an ASIAIR with the mount.
Included are (4) of the genuine Skywatcher counterweights, plus I have some smaller CWs that I can include if you want them.
This does not include a tripod or the riser or the pier, as I will need those for installing an AM7 to support my small solar scopes. This sale is for the mount only, no OTAs, but includes the hand controller, power cable, CW shaft, and CWs.
I have the original box for the mount, which includes a genuine Skywatcher EQ8-R hard shell case.
This mount tracks well, and I have used it to image with the 152mm APO (shown but not included), as well as a 10" f/12 Classical Cassegrain (see photo of M-57), and a 400mm f/15 Classical Cassegrain.
I'm open to shipping, or local pickup from Casper Wyoming. I can also meet you in southern Wyoming along the Colorado border if you are interested.
