This is a custom built pier and wedge for Meade SCT's. The entire unit stands 30" tall. The pier itself is 20" high. The circular base is 14" in diameter, and is 1/2" steel. The pier is 8 3/4" in diameter and the wall thickness is 5/16. The wedge is adjustable for any latitude. It is constructed and re-enforced with 1/4 steel. Attached to the pier is a tray for your convience. This is an extremely solid mounting which is ideal for photography or CCD work.
