I originally got this with the intentions of getting back into astrophotography, but decided very quickly that it was heavy and excessive to my needs. This came from a liquidation sale and as far as I am concerned, it was completely unused. It had not been unwrapped, nor had anything been removed from the box, hand controller was set to defaults. I took it out once to test everything and dial stuff in, and it works perfectly and sounds awesome, I just want something smaller I think. This one is one of the newer ones that has the USB Type-B on the mount. This does not come with a tripod or counterweights, just the following items:
- EQ6-R Pro Mount Head
- Counterweight shaft & extension
- Polar scope
- SynScan hand controller (USB and RJ ports on bottom) & connection cable
- Power cable
- Hand controller bracket (for attaching to a tripod leg)
- Sealed manual
- Original box with packing foam
- Some extra hardware for azimuth bolts
I can do local pickup OR I am willing to ship at buyer's expense in the original box. Asking $1200, please add 3% if using PayPal or I can do check or local cash.
