Meade LX850 GEM w/ StarLock, Tripod & AutoStar II - $2750 OBO

For sale is my Meade LX850 German Equatorial Mount system with StarLock.

The mount is mechanically sound and operating properly. The StarLock system and LX850 electronics are working, and the AutoStar II hand controller powers up and operates properly. I have current videos demonstrating the mount powered up and slewing.

The mount itself presents well for its age. The tripod has cosmetic scratches and a small dent in one of the legs, which are clearly shown in the photos. The cosmetic damage does not affect the tripod's stability or the operation of the mount.

Everything is currently assembled, so a buyer is welcome to see it power up and operate before purchasing. I can also provide videos showing the mount operating and slewing.

Also available separately: I have a JMI Large Universal Wheeley Bar (TPWULG10) with six 10-inch pneumatic wheels, accessory/battery tray, tow handle and leveling assemblies. It has been rarely used, always stored indoors and is in like-new condition. It is an excellent match for the LX850 and makes moving a large, fully assembled telescope system considerably easier. The JMI is listed separately for $795 OBO. I would consider a package deal for someone interested in both.

I'm located in Ouray, Colorado. Because the LX850 and its tripod are extremely large and heavy, I prefer an in-person sale rather than shipping.

I am willing to travel approximately two hours to meet a serious buyer, including Grand Junction, Durango and other locations in western Colorado.
