This is the latest version of the CG-5 / EQ-4 mount with the ball bearing internals. Comes with solid wood, oak legs from NatureWatch. Head has been re-lubed with white lithium grease. Extremely sturdy and smooth: I used it to hold my C9.25 OTA at 500x to view Mars and the moon several times. Plus, this is the best looking astronomy equipment I've owned: with the black head and the natural wood legs, it (and a telescope) have been a showpiece in my living room.
