Ioptron CEM70-EC2 package at $4295 includes:
Ioptron CEM70-EC2W w/ipolar (C706AW0)
8410 hand controller
one 21-lb CW, two 11-lb CW and z-axis CW
This is the newer dual-encoder model (PE <0.3 arcsec rms) with USB3 pass-thru, 12V distribution and WiFi that retails at over $7k. Bought in Fall 2025 with plans to utilize CEM70EC2 on home pier after I moved my GM1000 to remote site. Tested CEM70EC2 a few times with my SQA130 in guided sessions and was getting excellent tracking rms with 3-sec guide exposures. Currently mount is in my backyard ROR. Plans for remote in 2026 aren’t happening (need $ for other obligations) so CEM70EC2 rig is up for sale. Mount is in excellent condition.
I’m in Washington DC metro area if buyer wants to inspect or do local pickup. I have Ioptron padded case for mount and original shipping box. Can ship by FedEx or UPS at buyer’s expense. I accept PayPal (add 3% if not ‘friends and family’) or Zelle (no fee). Thanks for looking.
