I bought this cem40 as a first mount. I used it for astrophotography and visual. I upgraded to a strain wave mount for portability and set up. I added red reflective tape so I stopped bumping into it (Can remove). I did a teardown and inspection november of last year to clean and regrease the gears and check for belt wear. I can include a video of the mount slewing if asked.
Shipping Counter weights and the mount seperate totals a bit over $100. No tripod will be $200 less. And the mount will need a 12v power supply.
