Great deal on Celestron's top of the line CGX-L mount, 22 Lbs counterweight, GPS unit, StarSense, Smart Powerbox/Dewcontroller, power supply and cables.
This is an observatory class mount that can handle up to 70 Lbs of payload. It incorpaerates the latest tech and is a pleasure to use, visually or for imaging. Mount head weighs 47 lbs without counterweight bar, it has two handles which makes lifting it super easy. I had a EQ6-R in the past that weights almost the same as this mount with half the caprrying capacity.
Mount head is in excellent like new condition, tracking and GOTO works perfectly. Celestron's CPWI software suite is one of the best, and fully integrates with popular 3rd party software like NINA or ASIAIR.
StarSense uses plate solving to center object perfectly for every GOTO, the smart power box which clamps onto Vixen/Losmandy dovetail plates and serves as the control center for accessories/cable management/dew heater
The tripod included is the lighter version for CGX mount. It is rock solid with a C11 OTA and very easy to transport. The heavy duty CGX-L tripod weights a ton and is really not suitable for portable use.
Counterweight has some scratches and tripod leg has couple of very minor dents, no impacts to the use of the mount.
This is a fatastic deal for less than half the price of the current summer sale price.
