Cave Astrola German Equatorial Mount w. sideral drive, all in near
mint condition on roll-out per (pier has three legs with wheels).
This is NOT the 1.5" shaft Cave mount but the smaller infinitely more
usable 1" shaft mount with full Timken roller bearings on both axes,
with a padded saddle curved to a 12"OD OTA w. straps - will accomodate
scopes down to 8" or smaller and we have had even a 12" newtonian, a
7" Meade Mak, a MN61, etc on this mount. This mount carries a lot of
weight successfully w. no stress on the drive. Its the best general
purpose (roll-out) mount Ive ever known. (We have three so getting rid
of one finally). I do have counterweights to 20lb available if you want.
Everything in clean fully maintained working condition, re-painted three
yrs ago. Call or write for further details. $450 or Best Offer + shppg.
J. Warner ([email protected] or [email protected]) Pickup by buyer if
possible but I will breakdown and ship...
