Brand new Unused MLAstro SAL-33 Telescope Mount.
This is a Batch 5 SAL-33 that will come with the new Wifi Adapter Module. The module will be shipped to the buyer as soon as they've received the mount and MLAstro has the Module ready to ship.
I've taken thorough pictures as you can see above and I have confirmed with MLAstro that the mount will still have the full remaining warranty time left and full support you'd receive from buying a current batch SAL-33. So, since I took receipt of it on May 23, that means it would have roughly just under 10 months of full warranty left on it at this moment and full support from MLAstro.
I'll be accepting PayPal Goods and Services for payment and I'm willing to cover the shipping costs using standard USPS, UPS, or Fedex shipping with insurance, based on if the buyer has a choice, to anywhere in the lower 48 contiguous states. If you don't have a particular choice, I'll probably just choose whatever is cheapest and easiest to deal with. I've never personally had problems with USPS or UPS or really Fedex, though sometimes Fedex seems a little less attentive. That could just be my area though, I'm not sure.
I'm trying to keep the loss down to less than 75 usd while also giving the buyer a deal which makes sense for them to buy this, instead of just waiting for one from MLAstro. That's why I've set the price at $1339 usd, so you'll save $150 usd over the current $1489 all in price from MLAstro. You'll get it sooner, you'll get it $150 usd cheaper, you'll still get the new wifi module, but you'll have to install it (if you deem you want it installed), and you'll have roughly 10 months warranty instead of 12 months warranty. I think to most people, the trade-offs of receiving it sooner and $150 usd cheaper outweigh the other two trade-offs.
I'm selling this, because I'm pretty severely chronically ill and it's been more worse lately than it was last year and I don't think I can now handle building a full Astrophotography rig like I could back in February when I ordered the mount. This is as much the reason why I only intend on shipping to the lower 48 contiguous states, because I don't think I can really navigate international shipping and any complexities that could come with that and why I really can only accept PayPal Goods and Services and I'll prefer to have a Direct Signature required on the item for delivery.
It's never had my bare hands on it. I put nitrile gloves on and then only opened the box just two weeks ago to verify that there is no cosmetic damage to the product after it had been through customs.
There's zero, it's in perfect condition, not even a single fingerprint on it, just as it is coming from MLAstro. If customs even looked at it, then they did an immaculate job putting it back in.
I never opened it until two weeks ago, as stated and I don't have a 12v 3a/5a/10a power brick, so this will be exactly like getting it directly from MLAstro and the support and roughly 10 months remaining warranty are important to be aware that you'll have.
If you have any questions, as I may have left out any details in this listing, just message me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with the response.
Thanks,
Scienotic
