To raise funds for the construction of a new observatory, I am reluctantly selling my beloved Astro-Physics AP600 Servo/GTO.

The mount was just serviced and is in perfect working conditions with zero backlash.
It is also in perfect cosmetic conditions and comes with its Servo Control Box and Keypad and a GTO CP2 Unit.

It has 2.5" axes in both RA and Dec with bronze worm wheels and brass worm gears.
The drive system uses a high-quality, zero-cogging DC servo motor controlled by a microprocessor to an accuracy of 0.2 arc seconds per step.

It is well known that, for its capacity and mechanical precision, the AP600 was selected by Zeiss and re-branded as "PaMont-II" to be coupled to the Zeiss 150APQ Apochromatic refractor (OTA 180mm dia. x 1300mm length x 20kgs weight).
Properly balanced, it carries 6" f/9-15 refractors or 12-14" SCTs with ease.
A C11 is simply rock solid on it -- you can slam the back and the image does not move.

This AP600 comes with the original 14.5" x 1.125" Diameter Counterweight Shaft with two original weights 6SLCWT and 9SLCWT.
In addition it also has a 10.7" x 1.875" diameter Counterweight Shaft to accomodate larger weights (not pictured).
I am also adding a 15" Dovetail Saddle Plate (DOVE15) and a 15" Dovetail Sliding Bars (SB1500), and an ADATRI Tripod adapter (not pictured).
All in all, more than 600$ of accessories (way more if you are in Europe).

Asking 2.950 EUR (+ shipping & fees) but will consider any reasonable offer.

I can also exclude any of the accessories and/or the GTO CP2 if you are not interested in GoTo feature and just wish a solid and reliable visual platform.
N.B.: Of course you can do all sort of excellent imaging just with the SMD control box -- the mount simply does not slew all by itself, but has all the auto guiding capabilities.

I will ship worldwide.
Many thanks in advance,

PS/ Any info, more pictures and side bla-bla-bla, I am here.
