This mount originally came with a CP2 controller but was upgraded in 2025 to a CP3 with V2 chip. The controllers personality was modified by Astrophysics firmware staff to make the mounts motors and gears operate seamlessly with the capability of the CP3 controller. I have used it for imaging with the ASIAIR without issues.
