Custom counterweight for mounts with 1.5" Counterweight Shafts. Astro-Pysics, Paramount, iOptron, Cave, etc.
Dimensions: 6" OD, 45mm tall (1.77") Item is first 3D printed with a hollow PETG shell with threaded lid, it is filled with lead weights, then a 2 part epoxy is poured in to fill in all the gaps and encapsulate everything. It is left to cure for a few days then it is a single solid part; the 3D printed shell doesn't have to support the weight as it is all fused as one. A 3D printed solid push pin is installed to hold the weight to the shaft without marring it. And a metal 1/4-20 bolt with knob pushes the pin. Brass threaded inserts are used to retain the knob, No risk of rusting or paint flaking off. 1 year warranty for any issues.
