Track The Stars TTS-160 — Complete Mount Package
I am rationalising some of my astronomy equipment and have decided to sell my Track The Stars TTS-160.
The mount has been used as part of my astronomy setup and is in very good used condition. It has been looked after carefully and is fully operational.
For anyone unfamiliar with the TTS-160, it is an extremely well engineered alt-azimuth mount designed to carry substantial telescope loads while remaining remarkably compact and straightforward to use. It is particularly attractive for visual observing because there is no meridian flip and the observing position remains very comfortable.
Included in the sale
- TTS-160 mount head
- Hand controller
- Track The Stars pier
- Pier adapter
- Counterweight arms
- 2 × 4 kg counterweights
- 2 × 8 kg counterweights
- Carrying/storage bags
Condition
The mount is in very good used condition. There may be the occasional small cosmetic mark consistent with normal use, but nothing that affects its operation.
It has been used in my own astronomy setup rather than commercially and has been stored appropriately when not in use.
I am selling simply because I am rationalising the amount of astronomy equipment I own rather than because of any problem with the mount.
