This is an amazing mount, but family circumstances force me to slim down my collection.

It is in near-new condition, only used 2 or 3 times. The asking price is less than what I paid for the mount and all of the options.

Charles Riddel over-designed this mount, and stopped making them because they were too expensive to manufacture. I bought this with the motors already in place, and just recently received the motor controller from Charles, so this is one of only a small handful of Nova Hitch mounts that include motors and controller, and there will never be many of these in existence.

Feature list:
* Versatile, low-weight mount for refracting astronomical scopes to 140 mm (or possibly larger).
* 17.1 pounds ready-to-use, including saddle, dovetail plate, finder bracket, encoders
* Efficient CNC-machined, cross-braced structure. Rigid, precise, and beautiful.
* Two-axis balancing without counterweights or tools. No chasing balance. No flop. No heavy friction -- even when bino-viewing. Saddle included.
* Slow-motion controls with no-tool, quick-adjust clutches and silky, ball bearing rotations.
* Quick action, cam-lock brakes (included in base price).
* Included 8,192-step encoders in machined housings and fold-away DSC bracket.
* Preloaded roller axis bearings. Zero slop.
* Dovetail plate system for fast, easy attachment of payload. CNC-machined dovetail plate included in base price.
* Finder bracket.
* Horizon stop to protect scopes while out-of-balance during eyepiece changes.
* Zenith stop to protect against bumping tripod.
* Attaches to tripod via standard 3/8-16 screw.
* Tripod-friendly design keeps the load near the tripod centerline for stability and low vibration while providing excellent scope clearance.
* No extension column needed! Competing mounts can not match the Nova Hitch's tripod clearance without one. (Be sure to factor this into weight and cost comparisons.)
* Built-in bubble level.
* Motors and controller (with power supply) to allow easy adjustment for hands-off tracking.
