This is the complete Starizona HyperStar 8 lens kit purchased new in 2020. This unit converts a standard Celestron 8" SCT or 8" EdgeHD from an f/10 into a fast f/1.9 imaging powerhouse with a 390mm focal length. The kit was optimized for a ZWO Cooled Camera (native 17.5mm backfocus via the included adapter). It also includes the integrated Starizona Filter Slider (FS) base, allowing you to easily swap 2" filters without removing the camera.
Condition:
The unit is in excellent condition as I only used it a couple of times. The optical glass elements are pristine, free of scratches, fungus, or coating degradation. Produces flat, pinpoint stars across APS-C and smaller sensors.
