Bausch & Lomb Stereozoom 4 microscope w/Back illumination (meteorites, rocks fossils, etc.)

Hi folks,
Up for sale is another one of my B&L StereoZoom microscopes:
This is a Bausch and Lomb StereoZoom 4 Microscope with anupgraded back illumination stage.
It has a Zoom range of .7 - 3X which gives a range of 7X to 30 X with included BRAND NEW 10x eyepieces, and a new transparent stage plate.

This is one of the earlier grey models with all metal internal parts.

Scope is clean in in good collimation.

There is a genuine B&L / Leica Nicholas illuminator included for both top and bottom ( back-illumination)
(See pics)
(ALSO: One of the pictures shows one of my samples of Olivine crystals thoughthe eyepiece for reference.)

These scopes are great for low power inspection of electronics, stamps, coins, insects, mirror surfaces. I used it for the study of fossils, rocks minerals, and meteorites. Also for demonstration during lectures, etc. It was superb for that. And as an aside, the power isn't limited to 30x. With 20x or 30x eyepieces, you can get up to 60 power or 90 power. But generally the zoom range of 7x to 30x is really all you need.
These are fun microscopes to use. And kids love them. They find tons of stuff to examine!! Colleges used these for years because they held up so well and the image quality was great. Back in the day, these were well over $1000 to buy.
***These scopes were and still are the mainstay of many Geology departments in colleges and universities nationwide, as they often find that the newer counterparts from companies such as Amscope, etc. do not hold up over repeated use for very long compared to the old B&L's / Leicas. They are still serviced by many companies such as Microscope Central, and others as there is a lot of support still available for them!
Don't miss your chance at one of these great scopes! ***
