Up for sale is a modern, newer production Lumicon 1.25" UHC Filter. This is widely considered the gold standard of narrow-band visual filters, providing an incredible contrast boost on emission and planetary nebulae by isolating the OIII and H-Beta lines while aggressively blocking artificial light pollution. This is the newer generation version featuring modern, ultra-durable hard coatings that are built to last and will not degrade over time. It performs beautifully in telescopes of all sizes, making targets like the Orion Nebula (M42), the Lagoon Nebula (M8), and the Dumbbell Nebula (M27) absolutely pop out from the background sky. The filter is in very good / excellent condition. The glass and coatings are clean and flawless, and the metal threads mount smoothly onto any standard 1.25" eyepiece.
