I am offering a collection of Takahashi MC LE eyepieces, including four matched pairs suitable for binoviewing. The LE line has been discontinued by Takahashi.
The LE series is a five-element design with a 52-degree apparent field and generous eye relief. These are the earlier production run with the laser-green lettering etched into the barrel.
Included in this collection are:
- 1 x MC LE-50mm (2" barrel)
- 2 x MC LE 30mm (1.25")
- 2 x MC LE 24mm (1.25")
- 2 x MC LE 18mm (1.25")
- 2 x MC LE 7.5mm ED (1.25")
Nine eyepieces total.
A note on the 7.5mm pair: Takahashi did not mark "ED" on the barrels, so these read simply "MC LE 7.5mm" like the rest of the line. They are the ED version — Takahashi specified ED (extra low dispersion) glass for the 2.8mm, 3.6mm, 5mm, and 7.5mm focal lengths, and the original box carries the TEA0075 part number for the 7.5mm ED LE.
Condition: Please see the photographs. There is some light dust in the optics. The barrels are clean with only light marks from use.
Original boxes are included for all eyepieces except the LE-50mm and one of the two 7.5mm eyepieces.
My preference is to sell the collection complete, then matched pairs, but I am willing to break up pairs and sell single eyepieces as well.

The LE-50mm is a single eyepiece — there is only one, and it is a 2" barrel.
Preference will be given to a buyer taking the complete collection, then to buyers of matched pairs. Once an eyepiece is sold, the remainder will continue to be offered.
Price includes shipping, insurance, and PayPal fees within the CONUS. International shipping is welcome at the buyer's expense.
