EYEPIECE SOLD, THANK YOU! From the Hands-On optics website:
The first in the new 2" wide angle series offered by GTO. The Proxima 31 utilizes a hybrid design of a five-element design featuring a 71° extra wide field of view. The new Proxima 31 is the answer to those big name wallet busting wide fields. These special eyepieces are computer designed to keep visual aberrations to an absolute minimum. Care was taken to minimize spherical, chromatic aberration, field curvature, coma, astigmatism, distortion and spherical distortion. Not recommended for faster than F/5 optical systems. The 31mm focal length has a comfortable 20mm of eye relief with soft rubber eyecup for eyeglass wearers and to keep out extraneous light. The inside surfaces and edges of all lenses are blackened, to keep out reflected light. Outside surfaces are flat black, with rubber grips for secure handling. These eyepieces also feature a wrap around ribbed rubber security grip. Threaded barrels accept standard 2" (48m) thread-in filters. The Proxima 31 is shipped in StarDust, shock resistant case. We guarantee a 6 degrees wider field than most brand name wide fields. Please compare with the best $250-$300 eyepieces on the market today for contrast and resolution and of course price.

What more can I say except that it worked well in my f/4.5 also (it was improved with a Paracorr). I now have a 35mm Panoptic, so this is up for sale. It goes for $149 from Hands-On Optics, I'll take $125 shipping included to conus. PayPal preferred, money order acceptable.
