For sale is an Astro-Physics MaxBright 2" dielectric mirror diagonal, model PMDMAX.
This is an earlier example of Astro-Physics’ highly regarded MaxBright diagonal and includes the original box, original instructions, dust caps, and 2"-to-1.25" adapter. The instruction sheet is dated April 1997.
The MaxBright features a high-reflectivity dielectric coating, baffled flat-black interior, brass locking ring, and a housing threaded for 48mm filters. The original instructions state reflectivity above 99% over the visual range and describe the coating as significantly more durable than conventional metal coatings.
The diagonal is in very good used condition overall. The mirror presents well to my eye, as shown in the photos. There are normal cosmetic signs of age and use, including some wear and marks on the exposed silver surface of the 1.25" adapter. Please review the photos carefully for condition.
