Well, I really got tired of people complaining about how difficult it was to obtain critical focus for their 201XTs to work properly, so I did something about it. The Meade 201XT is a fine autoguider and easy to use, but is pretty picky when it comes to focusing. Parfocal eyepiece approaches haven't worked very well. Anyhow...
The new STI-201 Autoguider Focuser was designed to do away with all of the bad-mouthing. This dandy accessory employs our high resolution 180 line/inch ronchi grating and really works. Plop it in, focus until the bars disappear, and stick in your 201XT. It couldn't be easier, quicker, or more accurate. If it takes you more than ten seconds to obtain focus with the STI-201, I want to hear about it and will talk personally with your optometrist.
