This is a well-preserved mid 1980s illuminated eyepiece.
I don't have the illuminator. Contemporary illuminators
don't fit (lumicon, orion). It does have the little metal
attachment that screws into the side, which could conceivably
support your own homebuilt device. So, buy this
eyepiece if:
1. You have a similar vintage with illuminator but want
the good condition 12 mm, or
2. You don't care about the illumination, or
3. You are confident you can make your own illuminator or
want to spend $32 to find out. $32 includes shipping reticle
eyepiece only.
ps. I also have a day-old new unused lumicon pulse illuminator
which I wanted to use but it didn't fit, as mentioned. I'm
returning it next week (6/18) but if you want to relieve me of
both items $70 gets you both shipped.
