Selling a Baader Mrk IV binoviewer, this is basically for parts only. This is sold AS IS.
Everything is in working order, however there are some issues, these could possibly be remedied by someone else. I had no time for it and ended up getting a Mrk V.
Issues:
I can provide a case and the quick release ring as well.
Everything is in working order, however there are some issues, these could possibly be remedied by someone else. I had no time for it and ended up getting a Mrk V.
Issues:
- Upper left prism looks to have had fungus on it that may have etched the coatings. The lower prism likely needs to be removed to access that surface to see if anything could be done about it.
- Lower left side prism is loose, collimation screws look to have been pretty worn down from previous owners. These could probably be replaced if you know where to get them and the system recollimated.
- Tension needs to be tightened as they do not stay in position for viewing.
- Good cleaning of optical surfaces to remove dust and smudges
I can provide a case and the quick release ring as well.
