So while these are NOT telescope or mount items, they could have (and I have in the past) been used during astrophotography sessions as these would have been used with vintage telescopes/astro cameras for holding the operator's film.
Anyway, these are old boy 35mm film barrels. The top, threaded caps are tin and the lower body is aluminum. These are getting difficult to find in good enough condition that they still hold film. Most of the time, if ever anymore, I find these crushed beyond help.
These two examples came to me with a Unitron from 1966/67 years and I kept them as part of my nostalgia telescope and camera display in my spare room. I've sold most of those items since so these could use a collector.
For those like me that on rare occasion revisit the past by still using their ancient OM-1, AE-1, or K1000, these barrels WILL HOLD any 24-exposure 35mm film roll. They will also hold smaller 1.25" and shorter .965" eyepieces.
Conditions are great. Threads on the caps are a perfect fit. Some dents, but no punctures or tearing of the aluminum. No rust on the lids or heavy oxidization pitting.
You get 'em both.
All nations welcome.
