Takahashi MC LE 12.5 mm 1.25” Eyepiece – Original Box, Appears Unused (TEA0125)

Description:

Takahashi MC LE 12.5 mm eyepiece, 1.25” barrel.

Comes in the original blue Takahashi box with the white inner carton. The eyepiece is still in the factory plastic bag/wrap. Dealer label on the box reads TAK LE12 5MM OCULAR, part TEA0125, with List/Cost shown as 197.50. Barrel is marked MC LE 12.5mm in the characteristic green lettering.

This appears unused or essentially new-old-stock. I cannot confirm absolute zero use, but the packaging and plastic wrap are intact and the exterior looks clean. No obvious scratches, haze, fungus, or coating issues visible.

Takahashi LE series: 5-element design, 52° apparent field, multi-coated optics, comfortable eye relief (~9 mm), parfocal with other Takahashi 1.25” eyepieces. Excellent contrast and sharpness for lunar, planetary, and general observing. Made in Japan. The LE line has been discontinued (replaced by the current TPL series).
