Observatory,Star Gazing, Forest & Nature Preserve. Situated right in the middle of the clearest skies in Ontario, Nutwood Observatory takes in amazing clear starry nights. At elevations above 2000 feet, and un-imaginable dark skies the observatory offers second to none private and public viewing of the breath taking heavens. Astro-photography is a major event here at this observatory. Elk, Deer, Fox and hundreds of beautiful species of birds fill the area.
