I have for sale (in mint condition) the famous original (early 90's) Celestron "Black Tube" C102F FLOURITE REFRACTOR OTA. (102mm, F8.8, 900mm FL) Other than a couple of tiny cosmetic tube blems, this scope is "like new". The objective is "PERFECT"...never cleaned. Features 2" focuser with 1.25" Lumicon adapter. Includes (2) sets of tube mounting rings. This scope is one of the best 4" refractors ever made. See the reviews of Terrance Dickinson in his books "NIGHTWATCH" and "BACKYARD ASTRONOMERS GUIDE". Do not confuse this scope with the current Vixen Fluorite scope (selling for over $2,000) or later (late 90's) Celestron/Vixen flourite OTA's. This is the "ORIGINAL" Celestron C102F Fluorite Refractor with all the great and well deserved reviews. I offer this superb scope to the discriminating amateur astronomer for just $1695.

The scope is presently mounted on a Vixen Custom "D" (counterweighted) Alt-Az mount with lots of other "goodies". If you are intersted in a "complete" package...I would be willing to work out a deal on everything. I have a digital camera and would be happy to take some "pics" and email them to you privately if seriously interested. This is a great scope, seldom found today. If you want the best at hundreds under the current (and inferior)
Vixen offering...this is it! I'm only selling because my eyesight is failing. I have been into amateur astronomy all my life (well over 40 years). During this time I have owned numerous telescopes including at least (2) Celestron 8" SCT's, an 8" Newtonian and a TV Genesis Fluorite...THIS C102F was "My Choice". It will not disappoint. Thanks for looking and "clear skies"...Mike
