This is the Takahashi FS-128F 5" APO with the 4" focuser (not the standard 2.8")--perfect for astrophotography and an outstanding visual intrument, too. It has one of the best star tests I have seen (only my FCT-150 beats it), and is just back from a complete cleaning and tune-up at Texas Nautical. It is in absolutely mint condition, with only a tiny mark in the paint on the dewshield (about 1-2mm round). I have the following equipment, with the price I paid new only 10 months ago:

FS-128F OTA f/8 (with 4" focuser): $5,979
Tak 7x50 finder: $ 259
Tak 7x50 finder bracket $ 59
Tak Reticle Illuminator for finder $ 79
Tak Tube Ring for FS-128F $ 259
ScopeGuard Custom Hard Case for FS-128 $ 349
4" Focal Reducer f/5.9 (can be used with FS-152, too) $ 929

Total New: $7,913

I am willing to consider splitting parts of the package out, but I am not listing sell prices for them. I would prefer to sell as a package, and my asking price is firm at $6,500 (save 20% on a new scope!). I would consider selling the OTA and case (best for shipping) separately, price TBD. Buyer pays shipping, I prefer no international sales.

Since I own an FSQ-106N and an FCT-150, this fine scope is just not getting the use it should, and deserves to be put to use by someone more frequently than I will use it. It was my primary CCD imaging scope, and below are photos of the scope (mount and terrier not included <G>) and a shot of M33 I took with it and an SBIG ST-10E last month before the FCT-150 came in.

Serious inquiries only, please. Feel free to email with further questions.
