8" Newtonian, F/5, 1000 mm focal length. Original owner, I have taken the absolute best care of this scope! I've used for the past 2 years for observing and astrophotography (piggyback, prime focus, and eyepiece projection). This is a great begginer's setup if you're thinking about getting into astrophography - I've used it successfully many times! Let me know and I'll send you some recent astrophotos that I have taken with this scope. I hate to part with it, but I'm selling to finance construction of a 20" Dobsonian (Those Pyrex mirror blanks are dammned expensive!). Includes Celestron's CG-5 equatorial head & tripod, counterweights, 9x50 finderscope & bracket, 2" focuser with built in "T"-thread, eyepiece projection extension tube, piggyback adapter, Orion's Cheshire collimating eyepiece, and Kendrick laser collimator. Optics just cleaned by Celestron last month and I have installed a "collimating donut" at the primary mirror's precise center. I also have the Vixen motors for this mount- but sorry, I'm keeping these for later use! Instruction manual included. In the photo you see an Olympus OM-1 camera attached to show how the T-adapter works, but it is not included. I will pay shippping within continental U.S.
