Sold the 2000mm focal length SCT and now have a 600mm focal length apo refractor. Don't need an eyepiece with this long a focal length. On the SCR it was the BEST large (2") Plossl ever. It gave 44.4 power, a 4.5mm exit pupil and a 1.1 degree field. Am moveing over to Naglers for the apo. Again, this eyepiece blew away the Meades and Televeus I tested it against. Same real field of view as the 35mm Panoptic.
This was sold by University Optics in the late '90s. The original 5-element 'super Plossl' design copied by the Celestron Ultima and Orion Ultrascopic designs. In perfect condition. For a lens of it focal length, no eye relief problem due to recessed fron element. A wonderful gem, almost impossible to find any more.
Sell for $250 OBO or trade (+ cash!) for Nagler in the 12-17mm range. Make me an offer. I pay shipping and take PayPal. Thanks.
