Astrosystems Telekit, 12.5" f6.13, 2yr old.
Primary - Nova Optical full thickness pyrex, figured to an overall
1/10th'ish wave w/93% Q.S.P. enhanced coatings. Star Test comes in
textbook perfect. Splits the Double-Double w/ ease at 130x.
Secondary - 1.83" made by A.X.E., certified w/ interferogram. Due
to the large altitude wheels and the azimuth friction brake, this
scope is EXTREMELY smooth in both axis'. It can be broke down and
put into a mid-size sedan. Setup takes about ten minutes with an
additional couple of minutes to collimate the Primary. The Telekit
is extremely well built with a beautiful fit and finish. The
heaviest piece is the mirror box and I'd estimate it to weigh
about 40 lbs.
2" Crayford style focuser w/tension adjustment thumb screws.
2" Filter slide, holds five filters and allows you to scroll through them at your convenience.
4-screw secondary holder. Quick-release Cam style upper cage locking clamps.
Black Nylon over foam truss tube covers. Full length nylon light shield.
Dust cover w/ 4" off aperture mask.
Primary fan w/ built-in Nicad battery packs, chaging cables, 12v
cigarette lighter cable.
18" diameter altitude wheels. DCS ready pivot bolt. Azimuth adjustable friction brake.
Hardened rubber ground board feet. Pneumatic wheelbarrow transport handles.
Telerad. Laser collimator

I am looking to sell locally but will meet a couple hours drive away
from Los Angeles. This is in good condition and is easily worth over
$2500 but will sell for $1950 obo... Will consider shipping at your

Thanks for looking!
