This is a fantastic wedge. It is for Latitudes 24? - 50? North. I have tried all the Meade wedges and this one blows them out of the water. It is very smooth and easy to align. I am moving from my LX200, to a Losmandy, so I won't be needing this wedge any longer. It is in nearly perfect condition, with only minor surface scratches, from use. All the original parts are included, and it will be shipped in the original box.

From the Opt website:

Mitty Industries, Inc. Evolution Wedge for Latitudes 24? - 50? North

The Mitty Evolution Wedge is a sturdy, expertly machined equatorial wedge for your Meade LX200/LX200-ACF (LX200R) or LX400-ACF (RCX-400) series telescope (up to 14").

Standard latitude range is 24-50?. EURO latitude range is 35?- 61?

Crafted from aluminum, brass and stainless steel, the Mitty Evolution Wedge employs a Simpson Notch with a ramped entry for the top bolt when mounting the scope, along with a Edwards ?Six-Shooter? style Hand Wheels with integrated hubs and Captive Latitude Control Assembly using precision thrust bearings.

Mitty Industries, Inc. - Maker of the World-Famous Next Generation Wedge
"It is a marvel to behold and touch. Smooth, flawless, black obsidian perfection. I have monitored the progress of Frank's production run for months, seen the photos, studied the specs but nothing quite prepares you for the real thing. The weight, smooth blemish free finish, the joins almost impossible to feel. Everything fits perfectly. Sheer quality. Quality like Frank's labour of love really is well worth the wait and nothing competes." --From Dr. David Davies - UK
