Hello I have a Meade LX-50 10" 254mm,SCT that I want to trade for an 8" SCT or sell. I hate to do it but it but I am getting old and it is just too heavy for me anymore. It is in great condition, with the Magellan II electronics, PE Eye Opener and 2" adaptor. PE Easy Focus, 8X50 finder, and a custom hard shell foam filled wheeled case, to transport it in. There is a Telrad base that is attached to the OTA, but the Telrad is not included. I would like to trade it, for an 8" Meade or Celstron SCT of equal value I prefer the Meade because of all the stuff I have for it, already. If I sell it I will also be selling, a Meade superwedge seperately. I would really like to see it sold or traded to someone in West Arkansas, East Oklahoma or S/W Missouri, and picked up or delivered, within 200 miles of my home, plus Gas. Shipping it would be really expensive, and if the buyer wants the original Meade shipping container it will cost even more. This is a great telescope, but I need a smaller one that I can handle. Thanks for looking and let me know what you might have to trade I am open to offers like a nice APO refractor. I would trade it and the tripod and superwedge and all the accesories I have for it, for a nice APO Triplet Like an AT or WO.I can email pictures to a serious inquiery.
George
