TEC 6 Mak (152mm f/12) in excellent condition with perfect, flawless optics. This is serial #50--the last one made. It has one of the best optical sets of any TEC 6 (I have a copy of the posting in which Yuri stated this).

Besides the superb optics, the scope has micrometer focusing with no image shift, an internal fan powered by an external 9-volt battery holder with coiled plug-in cord, removable metal dewshield, metal meniscus cover, 2" visual back with TEC engraved metal plug, and AP quick release finder base that fits either of the two finder locations built into the scope with no modifications required. All in a 12-pound package(including 2" diagonal) that's mount friendly and extremely comfortable to use.

As expected, the scope delivers the stunning performance TEC scopes are known for and build quality, fit, and finish are superb.

Besides the scope the sale includes a hard case I had custom made with features not found on stock cases, including:

- Ethafoam interior with minimum thickness on all sides of at least 1". Latches are recessed.

- The case allows the dewshield to remain on the scope so there is no risk of wear to the black anodized finish of the meniscus cell that could result from repeated attachment and removal of the dewshield and no risk of the dewshield inadvertently contacting the meniscus when attaching it to the scope in he dark.

- Ability to leave a finder attached to the scope. I've use a Starbeam finder and leaving it attched to the scope avoids fumbling around whle trying to attach it in the dark as well as the need to realign it each time the scope is used.

- The case handle is offset from center to match the weight distribution of the scope so that the case remains level when carrying it.

My price plus actual shipping cost(not to exceed $100)includes everything above--scope with dewshield, end covers, 2' visual back, internal fan with battery pack and coiled cord, AP quick release finder bracket base, and custom hard case.

Thanks for looking!
