Fairly new Takahashi NJP-160 mount in excellent shape, 9 months old, limited use, blemmish free. It is rated at 70 lbs. scope capacity. The mount head weighs 50lbs. Included are four screw-type 6.5kg counterweights (one extra over original order); two sets of legs: LLM (42 inch long) and the longer LM (48 inch long) legs shown in the pictures. The legs are beautiful dark-brown teak and are very strong keeping the mount and scope rock steady. The polar alignment scope is easy to use, has an adjustable red LED light, and is very accurate. The whole system operates very smoothly allowing high quality tracking for visual at high power or for imaging. Comes with the PD-7 XY dual-drive controller for the mount's two crystal controlled stepper motors. An Anacortes Telescope(ATWB)/Losmandy fabricated adapter plate is included for attaching a Losmandy DOVELM plate to the NJP mount head is included. *The DOVELM is not included but shown attached to the mount head in the photos*. With this adaptor, you can easiuly attach any A-P scope to this mount. The newly available Temma GoTo upgrade offered by Texas Nautical can be easily retrofitted to this mount by the owner. Will deliver everything to within 200 mi. of Monterey or negotiate the shipping. Looking for $4,500 OBO.
