This OTA was made in Japan by Vixen Optics. The current Celestron C6 is made in China with inferior optics. The scope is in excellent condition both mechanically and optically. It looks like it has just been delivered from the factory. The optics have no scratches, sleeks or chips and the coatings are in great condition. The primary has some very minor, faint discoloration around the rubber "clips" (see image) that might be removable. The sale includes the OTA, 6X finder scope, sliding focuser with graduated scale and visual/photographic extension, mounting rings, factory installed dovetail connectors and metal end cap with "peep hole". The current 6" f5 Vixen reflector OTA is identical to this scope, except it's painted white, and has a street price of $799 (see the Adorama website under Vixen telescopes). I'm listing this scope for $190 and it will be shipped in the original Celestron packaging box.
