The NGT-18 is an 18", f/4.5 equatorial newtonian made by JMI. This galaxy gobbler is in excellent condition, bought in Y2000, all original equipment, all fully functional, with a few extras. See the document library at JMI's website for the NGT-18 Manual (original non-goto version), the MAX Computer Operator's Guide, and other documents.

Includes the NGC MAX computer and handheld controller with push button multi-speed slewing in RA and DEC, and moto-focus. Select from NGC-MAX's +12,000 object database and slew the telescope until NGC-MAX reads all zeros.

Do a two-star alignment and track stars all night. Welcome to the domain of Abell clusters and several hundred million year old fossil photons. Good luck counting the stars in M13.

Price reduced from $6500 to $5000. Compare to JMIs new NGT-18 for $17,500, or Obsession Telescopes 18 Dobsonian for $5,500.

A little dust on primary mirror, unnoticeable during viewing.

Nagler Type 2 20mm eyepiece included so you can enjoy your first space walk with an 82 degree field of view.

Dew heater pad installed under secondary mirror (heater included).

Includes Desert Storm cover.

Optional 5' by 10' trailer, practically new, paid $2,400 three years ago, yours for $1,700.
