I have a meade research grade equatorial newtonian on a pier for sale. This hasn't been used in about 15 years ands needs some tlc. I think everything is in good useable condition but needs cleaned and polished. The mirror looks like it could use a recoat and the fiberglass tube is in really bad shape. It is functional but really should be replaced. It comes with the mount, rotating rings/cage, 2 counterweights(1.5" shaft BTW), ota(optics, cells, vinyl endcaps, focuser, finder and etc.).

I think if someone bought a new parsk tube, had the optics recoated, and spent a couple of days cleaning and polishing the mount up, they could bring this back to near new condition. If I had a place to permanently set this up it would not be for sale.

I can get pictures for serious inquires. This is a beast and probably cannot be shipped at any reasonable expense. I can deliver or meet someone within a reasonable distance.

The main photo is a picture of the primary's surface. I just cleaned it and took this photo. To capture the mirrrors condition I took this picture by placing the mirror's back to the sun coming through an open window. This illuminated all of the thin spots on the mirror. This mirror, when placed on the kitchen table looks pretty good. However, this pictures show the true condition of the coatings. It could probably use a recoat. The surace is in good shape otherwise. BTW, the only identifying marks on this is the number "75.3" engraved on the side.

Paypal or perosnal check(may have to clear first) or MO.
Thanks for looking,
