I have a Jupiter Telescope Co. Juno 15" (14.5", 4.5) for sale. Only three dozen were made. The designer set out to design the perfect telescope; every possible thought and convenience was built into it. Besides the functionality, it is gorgeous, with a noble blue exterior. It was the first Dob with an Equatorial Table.
I am a fireplace astronomer, you know, sitting in front of the air-conditioner with an issue of Sky and Tel and/or Astronomy; I am not, as I realized, an observational astronomer.
Scope has digital setting circles built in, by Sky Comm who now does Losmandy.
Mirror is hand-ground by Fagan, a famous mirror-maker and classical musician of the 90s.
Every thing an amateur needed for a long night of observing was thought of by the designer of the 'scope.
This will be the star of any Star Party.
I will include:
dust cover; I forget what it is called, a stray light blocker that keeps light from invading the cage to the mirror pathway; a lot of other junk, books, etc; and eyepieces, all Televue:
24 Wide; 32 Wide; 9 Nagler; 7 Nagler; 20 Nagler Type II; 12 Nagler Type II; 15 Wide.
Condition of everything is good; scope has a few of the usual nicks.
