Due to a recent back injury, this great telescope must be sold. The mirror box is too heavy for me to safely handle. So you younger stronger people have a chance for a great bargain.

The scope has shown me and some others great views of the summer milky way objects with an OIII filter out in the desert. Nebula like the Crescent and North America were very easy, and the Veil seemed to glow white-hot. The Lagoon was huge and the Trifid was easy to see details in the dark lanes. Earlier this year, the Orion nebula was spectacular even from a light polluted driveway.

I bought this scope earlier this year from Steve Collett in Bakersfield Calif, who has built a number of scopes for local club members. Look at Astromart ad #248350 for the many details. It is still in the system. I have added wheelbarrow handles, a 90 degree finder, and a 3" fan.

For obvious reasons, no shipping or delivery, pick up only. You are welcome to come by and do some viewing with it here first to take a look at it. This time of year skies are generally clear. I am located in Redlands, California which is in the Inland Empire of Southern California. Next week (week of Aug 16) we will be on vacation some of these days.

Thanks very much,

Mike Ratcliff
