For sale is a beautifully crafted Berlebach set of wood tripod legs with a levelling center column. The levelling center column can be raised to any height while the head can be pointed in any direction, since the top of the column sits in a ball & socket joint. The head has a built-in bubble level for conventional photo shooting.

This is the top-of-the line model (#2042) made in Germany. This particular tripod is the same model, but made by Berlebach for Rollei, with the wood legs finished in a gray stain. Ordinarily, the wood is simply left a natural color. The tripod is in mint condition, with almost no signs of use. It is admirably suited either for photographic purposes or to support any one of a number of high-end telescopes for spotting or visual astronomy purposes. In one of the photos, you can see a Celestrom 102MM wide view attached to the head. (The scope is NOT included!)

The technical specifications for the tripod are as follows:

Maximum Height 64.5" (164.0 cm)
Maximum Height w/o Column Extended 45.0" (114.0 cm)
Minimum Height 20.5" (52.0 cm)
Folded Length 32.0" (81.0 cm)
Load Capacity 26.50 lb (12.00 kg)
Leg Sections 2
Leg Lock Type Twist
Independent Leg Spread Yes
Center Column Sections 1
Center Column Type Rapid
Center Brace No
Spiked Feet Yes
Head Type None
Head Mount Thread Size 1/4"-20
Weight 7.00 lb (3.20 kg)

Please email me with any questions. I have a couple of other photos I can send to serious potential buyers. Thank you for looking!
