MFA2 Adapter for Meade and Apogee $37 new - asking $25.

The highly touted and regarded SFA2 has a version just for Meade AR Series refractors and Apogee Widestars and Galileo scopes, THE MFA2

Now MFA2 visual backs are confirmed to fit Meade SN series Schmidt Newtonian SN 6, SN8, SN10 catadioptric reflectors.

Replace the cheap and sloppy Meade made eyepiece holder that marrs your eyepieces. Do you collimate your refractor only to find when actually use your eyepieces they images are no longer perfect? Then the MSS MFA2 is what you need.

The MFA2 is a black anodized machined from solid 6061 T6 aluminum back give two screw hold like the current part but with addition of a brass compression ring so as not to mar your expensive diagonals or eyepieces no more eyepieces or diagonals breaking free from the the set screws and loosening up flipping over or rolling. Precise CNC machining of the visual back gives you a precise 2" hole with .001" tolerance. The diamond knurled grip give you a nice grip surface and the large head set back screws give a better grip through gloves and when you mount a 2" diagonal.

The size specifics: the unit is 1.15" long and 2.5" wide. It adds no length to the focuser. It actually is a few thousandths of an inch shorter than the current two part system.

The MFA2 installation is simple. Just unscrew your current drawtube end and the locking ring which sits below it and then screw on the MFA2.
