I am selling a Vixen Super Polaris mount including hub. The mount is in excellent mechanical condition and good cosmetic condition. This mount is the original grayish-black model as opposed to the newer grayish-green colored mounts.

The RA and Dec controls are buttery smooth. The mount comes with the highly rated illuminated polar scope. Large 80mm diameter RA and Dec graduation rings. It has fine adjustments for altitude and direction (on the base of the mount) along with a bubble for leveling.

The mount does not have motor drives and comes with manual RA and Dec flexible extension controls.

As I indicated the mount is in good cosmetic condition - there are a couple
of scratches on the mount that the previous owner touched up; the metal
cover on the altitude scale has a small ding and the counterweight is scratched up. Otherwise the mount is excellent cosmetically.

The mount does not come with tripod legs but has the hub to attach them to. Any set of legs from/for a Vixen Polaris/Super Polaris/Great Polaris/Great
Polaris-Deluxe will work. I have seen compatible legs offered on Astromart
for under $100. AlsAstro also makes a nice set of Oak legs for Vixen

I am asking $250.00 and will split shipping cost in the CONUS. Please email if interested. I can send pictures upon request.
