Review by Dale Carey:

I received my Bino mate the other day and let me say I am delighted. The small,
lightweight unit is perfect for my
pronto/coronado outfit.I'm imprested with the craftsmanship. The rubber sides are great
on wet nights,and the
individual eyepiece adjustments are a real plus. Even the eyepiece covers made from
aluminum are impressive. I
used the Binomate, a 2.5 televue powermate and 25mm plossels on a 70mm Pronto
w/60 Coronado. The view
"knocked my socks off". Several of us from the club, compared Bino viewers from much
higher priced dealers,
and I saw NO difference when observing the sun. They could not believe I paid $299. (I
think they werea little
jealous.)

At $ 299.00 they are a steal. I'll pay shipping in CONUS. The Binomate Binoviewer by BC & F (Broadhearst, Fuller and Clarkson). Features include focusing diopters each side, a feature you get on only the more expensive Binoviewers. Lightweight (under 18 ozs). Nice rubber surface for good non-slip grip. Very nice cosmetics, standard filter threads on bottom of 1.25" sleeve. Image brightness is EQUAL for both eyes. That's something even the more expensive BV's can't claim. Sharpness is second to none. Get a pair for $ 299.00 while they last. Consider the 100mm F/6 refractor with the BV setup for only $ 495.00. Includes star diagonal, caps for both ends, Finder scope with dovetail bracket for quick release. Buy the combo set for $ 495.00 plus shipping. Tripod & eyepieces not included. Here is your inexpensive entry to binoviewing. NO BARLOW NEEDED for BV'ing with the 100mm scope. No Barlow means nice low power views are possible.

Thanks,

Joe Castoro
