Very nice mount that I purchased from a fellow Astromart'er about a year and a half ago - have since obtained a G-11 which is reason for sale. This mount is an excellent tracker for visual use, and I've even been successful using it for up to 30 second unguided exposures with a modified webcam and ST80. A port in the control box is available for autoguiding too. Price is reduced even further to $265 plus shipping/insurance of your choice. PayPal is preferred (and given priority), or money order is OK too. Thanks for looking!
The following text (from the Astromart ad I responded to) describes the mount and included accessories in more detail:
Meade high-precision LXD 500 equatorial mounting ($395), with dual-axis bronze worm gears. Manufactured to demanding Meade standards of precision, the Meade LXD 500 equatorial mount is 20% larger than the LXD 300 mount and permits applications of the telescope, in conjunction with the optional 12V 4-speed #1702 Dual-Axis Drive System ($195 upgrade Included) with 4 speeds 2X, 8X, 16X & 32X either axis, and port for Autoguider that includes capability for long-exposure deep-space astrophotography and CCD imaging. LXD 500 mounting is a relatively light weight, yet high-precision, platform. Oversize bearings on both axes combine with bronze worm gears for extremely smooth manual slow-motion control in Right Ascension and Engraved setting circles allow for the location of faint celestial objects directly from their catalogued coordinates. Micrometric controls in azimuth and elevation enable quick, accurate polar alignment; a bubble level for tripod leveling and elevation scale for setting the observing latitude are included. The optionally-available #812($95 upgrade Included) Polar Alignment Finder threads into the base of the polar axis for polar alignment in sensitive applications. Very nice HD setup, like new condition works and tracks great.
